Elegant Investor Start
The Elegant Investor Start course consists of eight sessions focused on practical knowledge and thoughtful inspiration, designed to introduce you to stock market investing in a structured and accessible way. Each session combines a theoretical segment with time for questions, followed by a thirty minute practical part where you work with real examples and learn how to apply what you have just covered. The course takes you from understanding the foundations of the stock market to creating your own Elegant Investment Plan.
After completing the core part of the course, you can continue your learning at no additional cost in one of two tracks: Elegant Dividend Investor or Elegant Growth Investor. Each panel includes four additional sessions that deepen your understanding of analysis, company selection, and portfolio construction. Choosing a panel is optional.

Course programme
Eight sessions designed to guide you through the fundamentals of investing, from the basics of the stock market to creating your own investment plan.
We begin by breaking the myths that have discouraged women from investing for years. We discuss emotions, stereotypes, and the beliefs that make the stock market seem difficult or intimidating. You will see that investing can be clear, logical and neatly organised. This lesson offers a dose of courage and inspiration to take your first step toward financial independence.
You learn what the stock market truly is, how it functions and which instruments are available. You become familiar with essential concepts such as shares, stock indices, bull markets and bear markets, which makes the world of investing far more approachable. You learn to recognise the mechanisms that drive the market and understand that it is not chaos but a system that can be studied and understood.
You discover the difference between companies that share profits with shareholders through dividends and those that reinvest earnings into growth. You learn how each approach can support different investment goals and how to choose a strategy that fits your style, needs and long-term investment plan.
This lesson helps you understand how taxes and reporting work in the context of investing. We discuss what withholding tax is, how to interpret income from dividends and the sale of shares and how to keep your documents organised.
You explore what investment risk means and why diversification is one of the pillars of a resilient portfolio. You learn how to distribute funds across different companies, sectors and regions so that no single decision dominates the overall picture. You also discover examples of allocation principles that help you maintain balance and stability within a model investment portfolio.
We focus on the emotions and common mistakes that often accompany beginner investors. We discuss haste, fear of losses and excitement after gains and how these emotions influence decision making. You receive a set of practical rules and suggestions that help you stay composed even when the market becomes unpredictable.
This is the moment when theory becomes concrete. You create your first Elegant Investment Plan tailored to your situation, goals and possibilities. You learn how to organise your actions across short, medium and long term horizons and how to write down reflections after each stage so your investment decisions remain structured and consistent.
You learn the differences between brokerage accounts, which fees matter and how the opening process works. Through a practical example, you see what buying shares looks like so you can begin your investing journey independently.
After completing this part, you can continue your learning in one of two tracks: Elegant Dividend Investor or Elegant Growth Investor, or conclude the course at the Elegant Investor Start level.
